Ducted Air Conditioning

Ducted air conditioning is installed in a false ceiling. It operates through a central unit, which distributes the cold air through ducts. This way, the air circulates and reaches the rooms through vents previously placed in the wall.

Advantages

  • Ducted air conditioning is ideal for keeping the entire house equally heated.
  • It is the best option when there is more than one room to be air-conditioned.
  • You save yourself from installing more than one device and the cost that this entails.
  • It's much more aesthetically pleasing, simpler, and goes unnoticed, as only a few small air outlet grilles are visible.
  • Ducted equipment is much quieter than traditional appliances.
  • You'll have independent temperature control in each room with different thermostats, which will result in significant energy savings.

Disadvantages

  • The price is also slightly more expensive than a conventional air conditioner, but keep in mind that we'll be cooling the entire house. In the long run, it will be cost-effective; you'll notice significant savings on your bills, as this equipment contributes significantly to energy savings.
  • It requires some work and a somewhat complex installation. It's a good idea if you buy a house before you start adding furniture, painting, and decorating. Otherwise, you'll have to build a false ceiling, if you don't already have one, and then start installing it from there.
